Acorns are little gems of the natural world, whether you're familiar with these nuts of the Oak tree in green, orange, brown, or anywhere in between! But if you’re excited by vintage glass ornaments as I am, you may be intrigued to find that acorns can come in every shade of the rainbow, and with fanciful textures and patterns made from blown glass! Of course, my illustrated ode to acorn ornaments is delivered in black-and-white, and it's up to YOU to colorize these jewels. Enjoy two sentiments and two compositions of acorns.
Illustrated with a whole lotta love by Marcella Hawley.
