Pause for a moment, relax your shoulders, breathe in, deeply, and breathe out. Repeat this process, paying attention to your breathing. Eventually, while you breathe out, smile at the same time. Feel the joy that can come from this simple exercise! Focusing on your breathing is one of the best ways to bring calm to your entire being, and I have designed a scene to help celebrate this serenity. The lotus is a symbol of serenity and peace, and here we have a few lush blooms and an undulating lily pad to color. Enjoy bringing beauty to this watery scene, and pay attention to your breathing while you color - it might be your most peaceful craft experience yet!
Pastel shades of yellow, white, green, and watery blues would be beautiful in this illustration.
OF COURSE, you can always color the illustration however your heart desires!
Illustrated with a whole lotta love by Marcella Hawley.
